Candidates who meet the requirements post their profiles on Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s website (IRCC). A Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score is assigned to them. IRCC sends invitations to apply for permanent residency to immigration candidates with the highest CRS scores approximately every two weeks.
What type of Express Entry Draws are there?
There are three types of Express Entry draws:
Ø Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draws
Ø Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws
Ø All-program draws
CEC draws target candidates in the Express Entry pool who have at least one year of Canadian work experience.
PNP draws target candidates in the Express Entry pool who have been recommended by a Canadian division.
All program draws are open to all Express Entry candidates regardless of their work experience or provincial nomination
